Ma De Lourdes Trujillo is a Trilingual Doctor of Education with more than 25 years of research, and teaching experience, as a professor in Universities and Colleges, in USA and México, working more than 20 years at the Universidad Atónoma del Estado de México with the ability to provide a student-centered classroom environment and positive learning experience, creating and maintaining the conditions which emphasizes teaching and learning and encourages free discussion of ideas, interests and issues, to meet the needs of all levels of language learning, as well as foster intellectual curiosity and the development of language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing, establishing optimal conditions for communication with students in a positive, equitable and social climate, based on an inclusive and anti-racist Multicultural Education, with special emphasis on students with disabilities.
- Teaching Spanish at Westmont University, Bishop Garcia Diego High School, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México and at the Secretaría de Educación del Estado de México.
- Organizing and implementing the program for teaching Spanish as Second Language.
- Providing quality instruction, creating and maintaining an environment with emphasis on curriculum teaching and learning, as well as fostering free discussion of ideas, interests, and problems.
- Draw on research-based knowledge of learning strategies and best practices to help develop a program of activities appropriate to the needs, backgrounds, and interests of the students.
Initiatives
Encourage the teaching of the curriculum in a theoretical and practical way, in a pleasant and interesting environment for students, always motivating them to give their best effort to learn.
Facilitate campus (department, division, college, and academic senate) review and approval of the academic programs, courses, and credentials.
